The embedding of JESIP remains a critical success factor to achieving interoperability between responder organisations, ensuring the aim of ‘working together, saving lives’ is achieved.  The JESIP Self-Assessment Embedding Questionnaire is issued biannually to police, fire and ambulance services across the UK and has two purposes:

• To assist responder organisations with understanding the activities that they need to undertake to ensure JESIP is embedded locally, and,
• As a tool which can be used to measure their progress with doing this.

The most recent questionnaire has just been issued for the reporting period March 2022 – August 2022 (inclusive). If you should have received this and haven’t please contact jol@jesip.org.uk to ensure we hold the most up to date contact details for JESIP lead roles within your responder organisation.

In addition, the JESIP team together with the Home Office, are currently reviewing the effectiveness of this biannual questionnaire and we are running a survey to understand how it could be improved. We are inviting those who complete the JESIP Self-Assessment Embedding Questionnaire to participate in this survey.
