All Staff E-Learning

You can access both the original e-learning packages and the 2017 version below.

This package is aimed at ALL response and control room staff within emergency services and staff working in other responder agencies who may be involved in emergency response.

The package is available in a number of formts. Check with your organisation whether they have made this package available in your own e-learning system to ensure you can record  completion as part of your CPD.

Both packages take approximately 30-40 minutes to complete.

Original e-learning packages


Police Services
If you work in a police service, then please access and complete the package via the College of Policing Managed Learning Environment (MLE) to ensure your completion and CPD hours are registered within your service.

Fire and Ambulance Services

The All Staff e-learning package is divided into four chapters which incorporates:

  • Explanations of the JESIP Joint Doctrine principles of interoperability;
  • The use of METHANE to pass incident information to achieve Shared Situational Awareness; and,
  • The Joint Decision Model (JDM).

There are knowledge checks in each chapter to check your understanding of the models and information in the chapters. Supporting documents are also available in the Resources section.
